The West Central Heat Athlete of the Week is junior girls basketball player, Carley Lafary. Carley ended her season with a pair of double digit scoring outputs. She scored 13 points in a win over Abingdon-Avon in the regional semifinals and then posted 18 points and 8 rebounds in a regional final loss to Mendon Unity.
The A-Town Tornado Athlete of the Week is junior boys basketball player, Ryan Adolphson. Ryan put up a double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds in a win over Havana. It should be no surprise, he currently leads the team in both categories for the season.
