The Monmouth-Rosevile High School Performing Arts Program will be performing a new play this weekend. Curtains is a ‘who done it’ murder mystery that will feature 26 Monmouth-Roseville students. Curtains will premier this Friday and Saturday at seven o’clock, with a matinee on Sunday at two o’clock. Opal Scott, who plays the character Jessica Crenshaw, gives us a hint of the plot for Curtains:

“This show is pretty different than what we’ve done in years past. It’s a murder mystery. My character unfortunately experiences some not-so-great events and the cast of the show is scrambling a new lead for the show while my friend Jake [McLaughlin, who plays Lt. Frank Cioffi] is conducting an investigation.”

Tickets for the play are eight dollars for adults and five dollars for Monmouth-Roseville students when they present their school ID. Curtains is directed by Melissa Agar with the pit orchestra being conducted by Kyle Barshinger.
