This is the new water main on North 6th Street.

The City of Monmouth is currently undertaking several very important major infrastructure projects to position the community for future growth and to avoid potential problems. The City recently drilled a new water well on Jackson Avenue and is currently constructing the water transmission main down North 6th Street to deliver this source of fresh water to the municipal water treatment facility located at the North Water Plant between E. Harlem and E. Girard Avenues. This project will ensure residents and businesses alike a safe and adequate supply of drinking water for decades to come.
