Knox College Volleyball Goes 4-0 On The Weekend At Own Tournament

GALESBURG, Illinois—The Prairie Fire volleyball team rolled through their tournament this weekend with four wins.

Knox (6-7) only needed to go to four sets in the match against MacMurray, defeating Alverno, Macalester and Rockford in straight sets.

Rose Griffin earned all-tournament honors with her spectacular play over the weekend. She racked up 57 kills over four matches, adding two blocks and three block assists. Mady Ferris picked up 89 digs and Emily Mosher tallied 109 assists. Jeanette Peebles added 31 kills and 10 total blocks (seven solo, three assists).

Knox hosts Rockford on September 19 and travels to Iowa Wesleyan on September 21.
