Kara Jade-Gordon MC Women’s Soccer

MONMOUTH, Ill. – Sophomore forward Kara-Jade Gordon (Nashville, Ill./University School) helped Monmouth win a pair of road games last weekend and was rewarded with the Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week in women’s soccer.
The weekend actually began on Thursday with a trip to Blackburn where Gordon netted a pair of goals and added an assist in a 6-0 win while putting three of her seven shots on goal, converting two. She was at it again Saturday, pumping in her first of two goals in the fifth minute to give the Scots the early lead. For the week, Gordon tallied four goals and one assist.
A psychology major, Gordon is the daughter of Daniel and Olive Gordon.
