Monmouth College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Offers Annual Angel Tree

Share

MONMOUTH, Ill. – In what has become a highly anticipated tradition at Monmouth College, Fighting Scots student-athletes will once again this holiday season reach out to special needs residents in the immediate Monmouth area through the college’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Angel Tree.
SAAC’s annual Angel Tree project – organized this year by Fighting Scots student-athletes Liz Reasoner (women’s lacrosse), Ian Moles (men’s lacrosse) and Lucas Sondgeroth (men’s soccer and track) – has the names of approximately 40 special needs adults and youth from the area.
The angels’ names are located in the athletic office of the college’s Huff Athletic Center and are currently available for pickup. Anyone from the campus or community interested in purchasing gifts for the special needs residents should select an angel as soon as possible and return the wrapped gift with the angel’s name attached, to the Huff Athletic Center office by Dec. 12.
SAAC volunteers will deliver the gifts to the Warren Achievement Center on Dec. 14.
