Chetin Breaks Down Upcoming GCAC Events

Share

The Galesburg Civic Arts Center has a few important events coming up. Tonight, the second installment of the Mindful Creativity series will take place at the Center. Jeri Candor, Mindfulness and Meditation Instructor, will guide you through mindfulness and meditation activities to help relax your mind. Tuesday Chetin with the GCAC explains:

“That is open and free to patients, caregivers, friends – anyone that has had to face cancer. It affects so many people, and this is a good night to just come out, get together, and have a little bit of creativity and fun,” Chetin said.

The program is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. at the Center. If you are unable to attend tonight’s Mindful Creativity Night, the third and final edition of this series is scheduled to take place on Jan. 19.

Tickets will also be going on sale for the Center’s upcoming Great Bowls of Soup event starting this weekend. Tickets will be available Jan. 13, and the actual event will take place on Feb. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. $30 will get you V.I.B. (Very Important Bowl) status, while regular tickets are $20.
