Jones' Excited About New Business

Large or small, we groom them all; that is the slogan for Precious Pets, a recently opened pet-grooming service out of Roseville. Casey and Krystal Jones opened the business in November, located at 305 S. Main Street. Casey Jones touched on what sparked the idea for the new business:

“We saw a need when Chris left – Chris’s Pet Grooming – she left. I had taken my dogs there for years, and it was to the point of, “now where do you go?” That’s why we went that direction where we’re out in Roseville, more of a rural community, a lot of farmers that have dogs that run the fields. A lot of people don’t want to stick their dog in their bathtub at home that they wash their kids in. It gives them an option to bring them there, and we can just give them a bath too,” Jones said.

Prices vary depending on the size of the dog being cleaned. Dogs can receive the “works”, which includes a wash, conditioning, and grooming. Large dogs are $40, while smaller dogs are $30. A regular wash is $25 on large dogs and $15 for smaller dogs. And nail trimmings are just $8. The new business will clean cats, but has yet to field such a request.

Precious Pets operates on an appointment-only basis. Appointments usually take about two hours. For more information about this new business, visit their Facebook page or give them a call at 309-548-1111.
