Jamieson Center and Pattee Learning Center Join Forces

Share

The Jamieson Community Center is now home to the Pattee Learning Center. This is made possible by a very generous gift from the Pattee Foundation. The Pattee Learning Center’s purpose is to help local area students increase the reading, writing and math skills that they may already possess.

The opportunity to grow other skills, including music, art, spelling and science is also available, in order for students to grow as individuals and expand their knowledge. The vision of the Pattee Learning Center is “to give all students the opportunity to be successful learners and realize their potential.”

There are several ways to become involved and contribute to the Pattee Learning Center. An open house is scheduled for March 15 at 5 p.m. This open house will give people the opportunity to see the classroom, meet the tutors and to hear more about the Pattee Foundation that made this possible.

The Jamieson Community Center is thankful for the support of the community.
