Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority from Monmouth College will be holding a grilled cheese lunch fundraiser at Faith United Presbyterian Church in Monmouth this Saturday. Grilled Cheese with KKGs will start at 11 a.m. and run until 2 p.m., and lunch will feature grilled cheese, soups, and dessert.

Tickets are $5 and can be bought at the door or online at my.crowdchange.co/ewkorf. Proceeds will go to Reading is Fundamental, a program that distributes books to elementary schools and provides pen pals for kids, Western Illinois Animal Rescue, and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation, which assists current and former sisters with various expenses they may incur according to junior KKG Jude Hamadeh:

“It’s mostly helping sisters and active members and alumni members through grad and undergrad schools by giving them generous scholarships to continue their education and pursue their dreams. It also supports alumni with special circumstances fund for emergencies. For example, if someone had a fire or a tornado,” Hamadeh said.
