Monmouth-Roseville superintendent Ed Fletcher announced that an Operation Backpack dinner will be taking place March 24 at the V-F-W. The theme will be “Monmouth’s Got Talent.”

Operation Backpack helps approximately 180 students, according to Fletcher. He stated that the kids are looking forward to everything the program entails, and that the dinner will help the program.

“I mean there so many talented folks in our area and I think this is an opportunity to showcase that, and raise money for a great event. It’s going to be an awesome night,” Fletcher said.

Fletcher stated that tickets will be coming out soon, with table hosts looking to fill tables. Jack Toal at the Armoury can be reached if someone is interested in purchasing tickets for a table.
