Your A-Town Tornado Athlete of the Week is sophomore boys basketball player, Nick Inness. Nick’s free throws in the final seconds against against Elmwood in the regional semi-finals secured the win for the Tornadaoes and sent them to the regional final.
Your United Red Storm Athlete of the Week is sophomore boys basketball player, DJ Dutton. DJ scored five points against the state-ranked Farmington Farmers in a Knoxville regional semi-final contest.
Your Monmouth-Roseville Titan Athlete of the Week is senior boys basketball player, Nick Kelley. Nick scored 18 points and handed out four assists in an overtime loss to Deer Creek-Mackinaw in the Knoxville regionals. He finished the season as the leading overall scorer and assist man for head coach Chuck Grant.
Your West Central Heat Athlete of the Week is senior basketball player, Bradon Annegars. Bradon led the Heat in scoring and rebounding for the season for the Heat. He finished his career with five points against Delavan in the Lewistown Regional quarterfinals.
Your Galesburg Silver Streak Athlete of the Week is senior boys basketball player, Andrew Anderson. Andrew posted a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds in his team’s final regular season game against state-ranked Quincy. He seems poised to help the Streaks make a deep run through the Class 3A postseason.
