Golf Outing & Pottery Day Kicking off Summer for Monmouth Chamber

Share

Executive Director for the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce, Amy Patterson, previewed two upcoming events in May and June. First, the Chamber will hold its annual golf outing at Gibson Woods on Monday, May 21. A foursome will cost $300, but this price includes green fees, cart rental, breakfast, and four drink tickets.

On June 23, “Pottery on the Square” will be held in Monmouth. Patterson explains what to expect:

“We will be closing down part of the square for vendors to setup and do kind of a swap meet. We’ll have an appraiser there, so if you have a piece of pottery that you think might be worth something, you can come up and get it appraised,” she said.

A commemorative pottery piece is also available to order. The 5″ x 8″ “jug bank” is 1/2 gallon, has a slot for coins, and a removable cork on the bottom. For more information on the Chamber’s upcoming events, call them at 734-3181.
