Linder Previews Busy July for Galesburg Chamber

Jessica Linder, Executive Director at the Galesburg Chamber of Commerce, was pleased with the latest turnout at the organization’s 25th annual golf outing.

“We saw 34 teams come out and golf with us which is really exciting. The last time we had that many teams was our second year, so it was really great to have that many people out supporting and able to network and use that day as appreciation for clients and staff,” Linder said.

The Chamber is constantly working to improve businesses in and around Galesburg. The Chamber will hold two events in the coming weeks to support local businesses: a Dine & Develop event promoting employee health and wellness on July 11 from 11:30-1 p.m. at G & M Distributors and a Business after Hours gathering at Yemm Chevrolet Buick GMC on July 19 from 5-7 p.m.

In addition, the Chamber is constantly searching for new members according to Linder, who encourages those looking to get involved to attend Chamber 101 at their office on July 25 from 7:30-8:30 a.m.:

“That’s a great chance for anybody that has been thinking about membership, is a new member, or even has been a member for a while and just wants a refresher about services, things that we offer, and even things that we’re working on at the Chamber,” she said.
