Monmouth College Athletes Earn Over 100 Spots On Academic All-Conference Teams

MONMOUTH, Ill. – More than 70 Monmouth College student-athletes representing 20 sports and 22 majors earned 111 selections on the recently announced Midwest Conference All-Academic team for the 2017-18 academic year.
The Midwest Conference awarded Academic All-Conference status to student-athletes who achieved a grade point average of at least 3.33 during the just concluded academic year. All student-athletes who earned varsity letters, regardless of class year, are eligible for the award. Business was the most popular major for Fighting Scots student-athletes with more than 20 from the department named academic all-conference. Exercise science was the second-most popular major, followed by economics and biochemistry.
The following student-athletes are Monmouth’s 2017-18 representatives:
