Pack the Lot at Granny's Dinner Bell

Share

Pack the Lot is happening now at Granny’s Dinner Bell until late Friday. They are collecting donations for the Ronald McDonald House and St. Jude’s. Krissy Stewart, owner of Granny’s Dinner Bell, explains the inspiration for the event:

“I’ve got to spend time at the Ronald McDonald House myself. I was taking care of my grandson, so my son and daughter-in-law could be in the hospital with Ellie. It’s a remarkable place, they make you feel like family there. You don’t have to worry about anything, there are meals provided. So we wanted to take the time and pay it forward, there have been a lot people in Monmouth that have been there themselves, so its a thank you to St Jude and a thank you to the Ronald McDonald house,” shares Stewart.

Some specific items that can be donated are diapers, wipes, and canned goods, but any donation is more than welcomed and can be dropped off now until late Friday.

Granny’s will be grilling outside Friday during the event, but inside dining will still be available.

Stewart is also looking for anyone willing to donate desserts for the event as they will be free.

Come on out and support a great cause and enjoy some delicious food, located on 1223 N 6th St in Monmouth.
