9th Annual Quarter Auction Fundraiser

Share

This Saturday the OSF Healthcare Home Health and Hospice will be hosting their 9th Annual Quarter Auction. If you have never been to a Quarter Auction, Nancy Reid, Manager of Home Health, reports on what one can expect:

“Anybody can attend for free, but if you actually want to win a prize you need to buy a bid number. And our bid numbers are $10 each. If you just want one chance to win a prize, you purchase that bid number. You can bring your own quarters so that way you can throw them in the bucket if you want to bid on that item. Or you can buy a golden paddle, which puts you in for all the prizes, you just have to raise it,” shares Reid.

The event has been a tremendous success in the past. Reid shares more about what the fundraiser helps to support:

“These funds are used for a great cause to help in our community. We serve a wide variety, 10 counties. Our hospitals are St Mary’s, Holy Family, and St Luke’s. Throughout the counties we cover all these areas, so we serve a large area. We would love for everyone to attend to help us with this event, so we can raise money to continue to serve our patients,” Reid reports.

The event will begin at 6 pm on Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1556 E Fremont Street in Galesburg.
