Share

The Galesburg Parks and Recreation fall and winter schedule is out now and multiple events for all ages are lined up. Some events to check out are open swims at the Hawthorne Pool, Aqua Fitness Classes, basketball open gyms, and even adult volleyball leagues.

On October 18th, there will be a special event for mothers and their sons. Recreation Supervisor, Chelsea Moberg, shares more details:

“There’s going to be a nerf gun shooting area, some treasure hunt type stuff, and there will be a DJ dance party at the end. There will be general refreshments also. Its $35 per couple and if you have extra kids that are coming with its $10 for each additional child. That early bird discount drops off after the 23rd of this month, so you definitely want to get registered early,” Moberg states.

To find the full schedule of upcoming events, search City of Galesburg Parks and Recreation on Facebook.
