Homecoming and Founder's Day at Bradley

Peoria, IL – September 26, 2018 – Homecoming is in full swing and we hope you can join us for the remaining events. Here are some highlights that might be newsworthy:

Bradley Bowl III
The Bradley Bowl flag football Homecoming game will be Thursday, September 27 at 5 p.m. on the Alumni Quad with the faculty/staff team taking on the student team.

Founder’s Day Convocation
The annual Founder’s Day Convocation is Friday, September 28 at 10 a.m. in Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. During the ceremony, founder, Lydia Moss Bradley, will be remembered and we will recognize alumni, faculty, and staff for their many achievements.
Community leaders and Caterpillar employees Michele Sullivan and Dave DeFratis will be receiving two of the prestigious alumni awards. The newest class of Centurions will also be announced. They include a Retired Chief Operating Officer with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, a Global Chief Supply Chain Officer with Molson Coors Brewing Company, and the Director of Corporate Social Innovation & President Caterpillar Foundation.

Hilltop Trot & Gary R. Tippett Memorial 5k Race (public is invited)
These two races will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 29 at the Markin Recreation Center.

Mr. Fuzzy Ears Book Signing with Donna Carr-Roberts (public is invited)
Donna Carr-Roberts, Artist in Residence and wife of President Gary Roberts, will be hosting a book signing of her new children’s book The Adventures of Mr. Fuzzy Ears at the Bradley Bookstore from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, September 29. Mr. Fuzzy Ears himself will be in attendance as well.

Tailgate/Soccer Game (public is invited)
A tailgate party will begin at 4 p.m. at Shea Stadium before the soccer game at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 29 against Loyola-Chicago. The Homecoming king and queen will be announced at halftime.
