MONMOUTH, Ill. – Cadan Glattback (Coff’s Harbour, Australia) anchored a defense that shut down a seven-game winning streak, earning the goalkeeper the Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week honors in men’s soccer.

Glattback kept Cornell out of the goal for 110 minutes in Saturday’s Midwest Conference opener, stopping the Rams’ seven game win streak and helping Monmouth pick up a point in the scoreless double-overtime draw. The junior goal keeper turned aside six shots in the contest, including two in the final six minutes of the second overtime. Glattback opened the week with a five save effort in a 2-0 loss at the University of Dubuque.

For the week, the international business major turned in 11 saves with an .846 save percentage.
