The 2018-2019 Maple Leaf Community Concert Series kicks off on November 1st with Tapestry. Stan Jenks shares more details about the artist:
“Suzanne O Davis recreates the sound and vibe of a 1970s Carole King concert, following the music of her classic album Tapestry. Audience members will be transported back to the iconic image of her record breaking multi-million selling album of 1971, “It’s Too Late”, “I Feel the Earth Move”, and “You’ve Got A Friend” as well as many of the other King favorites. Suzanne O Davis is a performer that has been with a lot of different groups and tributes to ABBA and Fleetwood Mac. So she is a performer and she knows how to engage with the audience,” Jenks states.
The concert will be in Dahl Chapel, 800 East Broadway, Monmouth, at 7 pm. Season tickets for the concert series are available for $70 or are $30 per concert. Tickets can be purchased online, at the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce, or at the door on the night of the event.
