First United Methodist Church, located at 221 East Broadway in Monmouth, is hosting a free local event on October 26th and October 27th at 5 p.m. called Uncle Phil’s Diner. Tickets are free and you can call the church at 734 9437 to obtain a ticket. The event is being held as a project for the church to raise money for mission programs the church supports such as the Good Samaratin Fund, Cunningham Children’s Home, and the African-Kenyan University. The event features 50’s style entertainment including the music and the food.
