The Buchanan Center for the Arts Armoury Players will be hosting auditions for “The Savannah Sipping Society.” Executive Director Kristyne Gilbert has more:
“Auditions will be held in the BCA Gallery on Monday December 3rd at 5pm, Tuesday December 4th at 5, and Wednesday December 5th at 5pm. You only need to attend one of the auditions. Actors do not need anything prepared, they will read from a cold script. Nicole Trego will be the director this year” shares Gilbert.
The BCA is teaming up with Market Alley Wines to bring a cocktail hour beforehand beginning at 6:30pm.
The production will be held in the BCA Gallery on Friday February 8th and Saturday February 9th at 7:30pm.
The Buchanan Center for the Arts is teaming up with Monmouth College to bring the production of “Oliver” to our area. Gilbert has more:
“Auditions are Monday February 4th and Tuesday February 5th at the Fusion Theater. Depending upon your age, because this is for children and adults, you will want to check out the correct time for your age to audition,” Gilbert states.
The production will take place on April 11th through April 14th 2019 in Wells Theater.
The Buchanan Center for the Arts will be having a Holiday Open House on Saturday December 15th to give back to local artists and allow them to showcase their new works. Gilbert shares more:
“We will have 10 to 15 local artists in the gallery with their newest work. You will have an opportunity to see demos on how they create their work. We will also have our famous Hot Chocolate Bar and refreshments. BCA members will receive their discount. Please stop by and meet the artists and get some holiday shopping done,” reports Gilbert.
The Open House will be held in the BCA Gallery from 10am until 3pm.
