Burlington Civic Music Welcomes Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang

Burlington, Iowa, Nov. 27, 2018 – A favorite holiday classic will come to life Friday, Dec. 7, when Burlington Civic Music presents A Charlie Brown Christmas Live Onstage. Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the Peanuts gang as they produce their Christmas play and learn the meaning of the season. The show is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. at Burlington Memorial Auditorium, 200 Front St., Burlington, Iowa.

A Charlie Brown Christmas Live Onstage is a new touring production featuring the popular Peanuts comic strip characters created by Charles Schulz. The Emmy and Peabody Award-winning television special has been charming viewers since it first aired in 1965. Now audiences can discover the magic of the meaning of Christmas with the Peanuts gang live onstage. The production features the unforgettable music of Vince Guaraldi and a concert of beloved holiday carols performed by the Peanuts characters.

Single tickets are $45 ($10 for students). They may be bought on Ticketmaster or through Burlington Civic Music by calling 319-752-0336. Tickets also will be available at Memorial Auditorium the night of the show.
