Junior High

The Monmouth-Roseville Titan girls 7th and 8th grade basketball teams hosted Alwood. The 7th grade Lady Titans beat Alwood 28-14 improving their record to 11-6 overall on the season. Leading scorers for the Titans were Meyah Hunter, Lindsey Hull and Gracie Oma each with 6 points. The 8th grade Lady Titans beat Alwood 31-19. Leading the Titans in scoring was Ailexa Hunter 6pts and Chevelle Wolf and Addisyn Switzer each with 4pts. The Monmouth-Roseville 8th grade overall record is 12-6.

The United Red Storm boys basketball team were on the road at Nauvoo-Colusa. The Red Storm 7th grade fell 22-8, while the Red Storm 8th grade lost to the Vikings 37-35. Abel Wilson had 19 points, including four 3-pointers for the Red Storm.

The Lombard boys junior high basketball teams took on the A-Town Tornadoes in Avon last night. The Zephyrs came out on top in both games. The Lombard 8th grade boys won 29-17, behind ten points from Joseph Moren and eight from Jon Sibley. The Lombard 7th grade was victorious 40-28. Talen Davis had 14 and Amarie Richardson had 12 to lead the Zephyrs.
