Two Henderson County residents facing burglary charges

Henderson County Sheriff Steven P. Haynes releases the arrest of Dustin A. Huss of Dallas City, IL, age: 29 and Ashley J. White of Oquawka, IL, age: 18 for Burglary from motor vehicles and theft over $300.00 by a Henderson County Deputy Sheriff. On December 18th, 2018 at 12:30AM, Dallas City Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the old school parking lot in Dallas City, IL. During the traffic stop multiple items were located not belonging to the subjects inside of the vehicle by the officer. The Henderson County Deputy confirmed the items as stolen. The stolen items had been taken from various motor vehicles over the past few nights in the Village of Lomax, IL. The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office has received numerous complaints from the Lomax resident’s Sunday night into Monday night about cars being broken into and items stolen. Both suspects were transported to the Henderson County Jail on felony no-bond charges and will be seen by a Judge on Wednesday, December 19th 2018. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
