Burlington, IA man arrested for Felony theft in Henderson County

Henderson County Sheriff Steven Haynes releases that a Burlington, IA man has been arrested for Felony theft. 28-year-old Cody Druin was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputies on Monday, December 31st for Theft over $500. The arrest stems from an investigation when Druin was arrested on 12/26 for Theft under $500, in which Druin was caught stealing gasoline and diesel from Nutrien Ag Solutions in Biggsville. An investigation in to that theft also indicated that Druin is a suspect in the theft of diesel fuel and an electric pump back in October of 2018. Theft over $500 is a Class 3 Felony which carries a 5 to 10 year prison sentence and up to $25,000 in fines. Druin is currently being held in the Henderson County Jail awaiting a court appearance on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019.
