Today, Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (D-IL) announced her sixth annual “Valentines for Veterans” program, encouraging families across Illinois’ 17th Congressional District to show appreciation for our veterans by making homemade Valentine’s Day cards.
“This Valentine’s Day, I encourage everyone across our region to consider joining me in making valentines for our veterans,” Congresswoman Bustos said. “We owe veterans our utmost gratitude, and it’s amazing to see the smiles you can bring to their faces by taking just a moment out of your day to thank them for their courageous service.”
The deadline for submission is Friday, February 8th, so Congresswoman Bustos can distribute the Valentine’s Day cards to local veterans. Cards can be dropped off or mailed to any of Congresswoman Bustos’ Illinois offices listed below:
