'Our Economy Updates'

The Knox County Area Partnership for Economic Development is excited to announce a new quarterly event series called Our Economy Updates. The series is designed to provide high quality local economic data information to area decision makers. Ken Springer, President of the organization, offers more details:

“Each quarter we are going to have a 90 minute luncheon where there will be a presentation of the latest local economic data. I’m talking about stuff like employment, work force, housing, and retail sales, that kind of stuff. We are going to find good data. We are going to boil it down into an easily digestible presentation and we are going to present it along with analysis and why we think certain numbers are going certain directions and what that can mean for the local economy,” Springer states.

The first installment of this series will be held on Friday, February 22nd from 11:30 to 1pm at the Soangetaha Country Club. The event is $20 per person. RSVP by calling 309-343-1194.
