Registration for the Summer Reading Program at the Warren County Public Library begins today. The program will run from June 3 to July 27. The program will include flexible reading levels and objectives and will also include fun and exciting events every Thursday. Children’s Librarian for the WCPL, Danielle Morrison, gives us the details on the the goals young readers will be required to complete:

“For each level you have 15 activities or goals to complete. One is a reading goal that you can repeat as many times as you like, and it’s a different goal for each age group. Attending a library counts, which you can repeat as many times as you like. Checking out five books is also another goal you can complete as many times as you like, and there are 12 total activities you can choose from. We have things like reading an award winning book, read a display book, read a book outside so you’re incorporating nature, so we’re just really excited!”

Registration can be completed online at wcplibrary.org or by picking up an application at the Library.
