Stone-Hayes Offering Vision Services

Share

Stone-Hayes Center for Independent Living has received a vision grant and is now able to serve individuals who have low vision, functional low vision, are blind, or experience macular degeneration. Executive Director Vanya Peterson explains the requirements for the program:

“There are criteria. Don’t get me wrong. You have to be 55 years or older in order to receive this type of service. We also have to have a copy of your latest script, which has to be less than a year old. If you don’t have it or can’t get it, let’s talk,” states Peterson.

All services are at no cost to the individual.

For more information, contact Stone-Hayes at 309-344-1306.
