The annual tractor drive with the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau and the Maple City Antique Tractor Club will take place on Saturday June 1st. Manager Gina Long has the location:

“This year the starting point for that tractor drive is going to be in Smithshire at Mike Jones’ shed. His address is around 120 South Polk,” shares Long.

The drive will begin at 8am. There is a $25 registration fee, which will benefit Ag in the Classroom.

The Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau will be holding a Defensive Driving Course on June 5th and 6th. Long reports on those interested can potentially get a discount:

“Usually those 55 and older can get a little bit of a discount on their insurance, if they talk with their insurance provider, they can get those details worked out. This will be taught by Doug Summer, who was a safety educator for Country for over 30 years,” Long states.

The course will be held in the farm bureau auditorium in Monmouth from 10am to 3pm each day.

For more information, contact the farm bureau at 734-9401.
