Charlotte M. Frambes, 70, of Galesburg, died at 11:38 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

She was born October 9, 1948 in Galesburg, the daughter of Richard J. and Alice Marie (Sholl) Bell. She married Clyde Charles and together had two sons; they later divorced. She later married Gene Frambes and he preceded her in death

Charlotte is survived by four sons, Clyde Charles and Doug (Sylvia Cervantez) Charles, both of Galesburg, Paul Calcano of Chicago, and Robert Schoonover of Carbondale; three grandchildren Jeffrey (Erica) Johnson, Zakkery Charles, and Xander Charles and eight great grandchildren. Also Surviving are her sisters Patty Morrison and Jonette Bennett.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant daughter, and a brother Mike Bell. 

Charlotte was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church. In her younger years, Charlotte worked as a bartender at Duffy’s where she made many friends and enjoyed the memories made there. She loved her pet dogs and her Patsy Cline records, she was a country music fan. Charlotte enjoyed going shopping and spending time with her large family and dear friends. 

Cremation will be accorded.  Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel.  A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m.  Deacon Michael Crummer will officiate.
