Patty V. Blakley, age 77, of Oquawka, Illinois passed away at 7:49 pm on
Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Unity Point Health Center in Peoria, Illinois.
Patty was born on February 26, 1942 in St. Joseph, Missouri, and is the
daughter of Edward Ashley and Agnes Vernell  (Martin) Turner. Patty
attended public school in St. Joseph and graduated from Central High
School. On November 19, 1960, she married Bill L. Blakley in St. Joseph,
Missouri and he is surviving. Patty was employed for 15 years at Hy-Vee
in Burlington, Iowa in the delicatessen. She attended Faith Bible Church
in Oquawka, Illinois. Patty is survived by her husband Bill of Oquawka,
Illinois, two daughters, Crystal (Bill) Bercaw of Springfield, Illinois,
and Cindy (John) Erdman of Willow City, North Dakota, two sons, Jim
(Dianna) Blakley of Anchorage, Alaska and Darren (Leann) Blakley in
rural Gladstone, Illinois, and five grandchildren. Also surviving are
four sisters, Shirley (Dave) Herbert of St. Joseph, Missouri; Carole
Helle of Seattle, Washington; Sheri (Ron) Sisk of Gravois Mills,
Missouri; and Margaret (Don) Miller of McFall, Missouri, one brother,
Ted (Deb) Turner of Springdale, Arkansas. Patty is preceded in death by
her parents and two brothers, Larry and Floyd Turner.

A funeral service is planned for 11:00 AM on Friday, May 10, 2019 at
Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka, Illinois. Her family will be present
to receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service at the
funeral home. A memorial is being established for Faith Bible Church in
