Roy Waterman, age 81 of Stronghurst, Illinois passed away Sunday April 28, 2019 at his home.  He was born November 21, 1937 near Stronghurst, the son of Clemens and Olive Kissick Waterman.  On September 1, 1957, he married Anna Rosenbalm in Smithshire, Illinois.  She preceded him in death on April 22, 1989.  On November 21, 1990, he married Ann Peterson in Stronghurst.
Roy farmed near Stronghurst and Knoxville, Illinois for several years and also worked for Twomey Company of Smithshire for over thirty years.  He served on the Stronghurst Village Board and was a member of the Lions Club and the Stronghurst Christian Church.  He enjoyed farming, gardening and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Ann, one daughter, Carole Waterman of Monmouth, IL, three sons, Richard (Tina) Waterman of Carman, IL, David (Vickie) Waterman and Ernie Waterman, both of Stronghurst, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, one sister, Shirley Stevenson of New London, IA, and one brother, John Waterman of Springfield, MO.  He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, 4 brothers, William, Samuel, Harold, and Melvin Waterman, and 3 sisters, Doris Peterson, Vivian Eagen, and Catherine Waterman.
