Ruth E. Wade, 90, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 2:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Monmouth Nursing Home, Monmouth, IL.

 She was born October 27, 1928 in Monmouth, IL, the daughter of Albert and Najeby (Bakkar) Ameen.  She was raised and educated in Monmouth graduating from Monmouth High School in 1946.

Ruth married Robert D. Wade in Monmouth on April 25, 1947; he passed away on May 17, 1990.

Ruth was a homemaker. She also worked for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services as a Social Services Assistant, helping many families in the area.  She was a kind and loving person whose life was centered around her family and serving others.  Ruth enjoyed cooking, baking, gathering and playing cards with her friends and family, and moving.

Survivors include her sons, Robert D. (Renee) Wade, Jr. of Davenport, IA and James Bradley (Darren Coleman) Wade of Asheville, NC; her 3 grandchildren, Brandon (Jennifer) Wade of St. Louis, MO, Chelsea (Jason) Guerin of Davenport, IA and August Mussat of Jacksonville, IL; and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jeffrey Wade; daughter, Kathleen Mussat and 5 brothers. 

Mausoleum services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Warren County Memorial Park Mausoleum, Monmouth, IL.  Cremation has been accorded. Memorials may be given to the Monmouth Nursing Home.
