Mrs. Sally Marie Rednour, 89, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away at 11:14 am, Friday May 3, 2019 at Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville, Illinois.

She was born October 20, 1929 in Galesburg the daughter of Cecil Everett and Clara Marie Nelson Miller. She married Roy L. “Corky” Rednour on May 6, 1949 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2017.

Sally is survived by her two sons, Joe (Tina) Rednour and Cecil (Joyce) Rednour both of Galesburg; her daughter, Debbie (Jack) Lawson of Fort Madison, Iowa; twelve grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Pamela Daniels on November 13, 2017 and her sister, Janet McCarthy on April 8, 2019.

Sally worked for the former Maytag Corporation, Kentucky Fried Chicken and in the OSF Hospital nursery. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1947 and was a member of the Grace Anglican Church. Some of Sally’s greatest pastimes included listening to music, dancing and going to the casino. She also enjoyed her sewing group and baking.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 12:30 pm Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. Father Andy Ainley will officiate. Visitation will be 11:00-12:30 pm Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Grace Anglican Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
