Anne M. McClure, 92, died at 11:50 a.m. Sunday May 19, 2019 at home in Galesburg, Illinois.

Anne was born May 6, 1927 in Henderson, Illinois, the daughter of Thomas and Grayce (Murray) Shea.  She married Carroll R. McClure on May 13, 1950 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1983.

Anne is survived by one daughter, Rebecca J. (Timothy) Calams of Santa Clarita, California; one son, Mark R. (Christine) McClure of Pittsboro, North Carolina; and one daughter-in-law, Barbara “Basia” Krol of Galesburg, Illinois; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by one sister, Alice Stablein.  Along with her husband, Anne was preceded in death by her son Mitchell J. McClure and her parents; two brothers, Donald Shea and Michael Shea; and sisters, Margaret Shea, Mary Jeanne Shea, Kathleen Roach and Genevieve McLaughlin.

Anne enjoyed the theatre, concerts, travel and time spent with family at their gatherings and events.

Visitation will be 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home, Galesburg.  Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2019 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Wataga.  Father Deus-Dedit Byabato will officiate.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Galesburg.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago, Illinois and to The Orpheum Theatre in Galesburg.
