Brian M. Patnode, 17, of Monmouth, IL passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019, 10:02 p.m. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center Peoria, IL.  He was born Friday, March 8, 2002 in Aurora, CO.

Brian is survived by his mother, Pat Patnode of Monmouth; siblings, Mark Eaton of Brighton, CO, Gail Trembly of Littleton, CO, Susan Velasquez of Canyon Country, CA, Shawna Olson of Talkeetna, Alaska, Tina Patnode of Denver, CO, and Ethan Patnode of Monmouth; and several nieces and nephews.

Brian was born and raised in Colorado.  He moved to Monmouth, IL at the beginning of his eighth-grade year.  He played La Cross which was his favorite sport he played two years here.  In his first year he was Terrific Titan and also Mr. Ferry’s award winner for being the best boy singer.  Brian’s favorite basketball team was the 76’rs.  He was a member of the MRHS Madrigals’, and the Drama Club serving as a board member.  Brian was a student at MRHS and was in choir, during his sophomore year he received three firsts and three Best of the Days at the IHSA Solo and Ensemble Competition.  He was a member of the Ecumenical Singers under the direction of Leo Ramer.  He was a member of the 1st Christian Church.  He worked at Alfano’s, delivering pizzas and he enjoyed his job.  Brian was one of the best sons, helpful, kind and pleasant.  He was a good friend and had a wide variety of friends.

Memorial service will be Saturday, July 20, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at the Monmouth-Roseville High School.  Cremation rites have been accorded and burial will be at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Brian Patnode Special Needs Fund at Midwest Bank, Monmouth to help the family with final expenses for the memory.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.  Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville is in charge of the arrangements.
