The Warren County Wreckers Youth Softball organization is putting on their 4th Annual Swing For A Cure Softball Tournament on August 17th and 18th in Monmouth. The yearly event is designed to help a local family in which cancer has greatly been impacted. This year’s tournament will assist Josie Blake and her family. Josie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in April 2019. She is being treated at OSF Children’s Hospital in Peoria. All games will be played at the Warren County YMCA softball fields beginning at 8am on Saturday August 17 with the last game schedule for 6pm on Sunday.
