Debra S. Fielder, 68, of Galesburg, died at 9:38 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2019 in Marigold Health Care Center.

She was born July 10, 1951, in Galesburg, the daughter of Richard Dean and Betty Jean (Settles) Gould Sr.  She had been married to Richard “Rick” Fielder.

She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Bresnahan of Galesburg; a son, Jason Fielder of Galesburg; four grandchildren, Jenessa, Ryan, and Christopher Bresnahan and Madison Simmons; and a sister, Sharon (Pete) Weldon of Galesburg.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Dean Gould Jr.

Debra was raised and educated in Galesburg, graduating from Galesburg High School in 1970.  She had worked at Gale Products Division of Outboard Marine Corporation for several years before they closed.  She was an in-home daycare provider for a time, and then worked at Farmland in Monmouth for eight years.

Debra had a love of gardening, especially enjoying flowers.  She loved cats and all animals.  She was a creative soul.

Cremation will be accorded.  Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
