Ed S. Neel, 77, of Bushnell, IL passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019, 7:50 a.m. at his home.  He was born Friday, September 19, 1941 in Rusk, TX the son of Jimmy and Mary Boatner.  He married Donna McCann in 1976.

Ed id survived by his wife Donna of Bushnell; children, Michele (Kevin) Brentise of Monmouth, Laura Neel of Galesburg, Kathy Sinnett (Mike Burkholder) of Bushnell, Lori (Merlin) Worthington of Bushnell, and Kris (David) Horwedel; 11 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren; 3 sisters Kathy, Julie, and Laura.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter (Dawn Quismondo), 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

Ed enjoyed his Ham Radio operations and talked to people all over the world.  He served in the U.S. Airforce.  He loved spending time at the river and was a commercial fisherman.  He worked 40 years at Maytag in Galesburg, IL.
