Hayden T. Losey, 7, of Kirkwood, IL, passed away at 3:01 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2019 at OSF Holy Family Medical Center, Monmouth.

He was born on January 13, 2012 in Galesburg, IL, the son of Colton J. Losey and Savanna N. Candor.  Hayden was raised and educated in Kirkwood and attended United West Elementary School, just completing 1st grade. 

Hayden enjoyed wrestling, baseball, riding dirt bikes, monster trucks and reading.  He loved farm equipment, especially tractors and combines.  Hayden liked to play board games, play cards, and sing.  He enjoyed playing with his little brother, Gradon.  Hayden always wanted to help others and was sympathetic and caring towards everyone.  He always enjoyed telling a good joke and loved to watch others laugh.

Surviving Hayden are his parents, Savanna (Jeremie Teel) Candor of Kirkwood, IL, and Colton (Delaney Stevens) Losey of Roseville, IL; one brother, Gradon Teel of Kirkwood, IL; maternal grandparents, Paulett (Jeff) Bendixon of Rochelle, IL, Thomas (Jeri) Candor of Cameron, IL, David (Tammy) Teel of Arkansas City, KS; paternal grandparents, Patrick (Janet) Losey of Monmouth, IL, Richard (Christina) Stevens of Monmouth, IL; maternal great grandparents, Donna Gilbert of Cameron, IL, Larry Candor of Galesburg, IL; paternal great grandparents, Ella Mae Harper of Naples, FL, Carol Losey of Warsaw, KY; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother Janice Candor and great grandfather William Gilbert; and paternal great grandfathers, Jack Harper and Harold Losey.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Cameron Christian Church, Cameron, IL.  Interment will be in Silent Home Cemetery, Cameron.  Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the Cameron Christian Church.  Memorials can be made to the Hayden Losey Memorial Fund.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements.
