Our Economy Update Coming at the End of July

Share

The Knox County Area Partnership are hosting the next Our Economy Update Luncheon on July 30 from 11:30 am to 1 pm.

Jason Keller of the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank and Jim Nelson of the Illinois Manufacturing association will be keynote speakers for the luncheon.

KCAP President Ken Springer tells us the topics that will be on the agenda.

“Both of the speakers will address the topic about the skill shortage affecting employers. They’re going to talk about the new realities for employers hiring employees in this modern era we’re living through right now.

This is a topic that I think is going to be really important. There are a lot of employers in this region, both Galesburg and Monmouth, and frankly all over the state that are having trouble finding workers right now.”

Those who are interested in the attending can RSVP by calling KCAP at (309) 343-1194.
