Share

The sixth annual Back to School Back Pack Program is being held Saturday, July 27 at eight am on the south side of South Park behind Dollar General in Monmouth.

Approximately 1,000 back packs have been donated over the past six years, with students from Kindergarten to twelfth grade benefiting from the program.

Back to School Back Pack Program founder Karla Wallace says more than back backs are being donated.

“Any children that come to the Back to School Back Pack Program, I give them all their school supplies, which includes, paper, pencils, anything that’s on the school list. We do not turn down any children we welcome all.”

The event will also include games, plus music from Keith Patterson.
