The Warren Henderson Farm Bureau and the National Soil and Water Conservation District of the NRCS are hosting a tour August 21.
The tour will meet at the Farm Bureau building at five pm and will tour a pasture outside of Monmouth. The tour will then go back to the Farm Bureau building at seven for the NRCS’ annual meeting and dinner.
WHFB Manager Gina Long gives more details about the tour and meeting.
“The pasture tour is part of the Environmental Quality Incentives Program through the NRCS. The topic will be talking about rotational grazing and other aspects of the pasture, and they’ll [NRCS] will have a couple different speakers out there who know all about the project
The pasture has been a multi-year project.
