The Monmouth-Roseville Junior High V.O.I.C.E Program are hosting their summer play Friday and Saturday nights at the Monmouth-Roseville High School Auditorium.

Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the show starts at seven each night.

The play, titled “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” will be previewed Thursday for family members of the cast only.

Site Coordinator for the V.O.I.C.E Program, Doug Dennison, tells us how the program was started, and its overall goal for young students.

“The V.O.I.C.E Program is a 21st century community learning center grant. It’s a federal government grant, part of the No Child Left Behind from years ago.

With that grant, we provide opportunities both academically and enrichment activities and for our students and our students’ families.”

Admission for the community play is free, with only a signature from each attendee required. The V.O.I.C.E program will enter its sixth year of operation at the beginning of the school year.
