The Grand Alumni Band of Monmouth is holding a 50-50 raffle Saturday, September 7.
Tickets are a dollar each or six tickets for five dollars. The raffle will coincide with the band’s concert on the last day of the Prime Beef Festival, which starts at one o’clock on September 7.
The concert will take place at the band shelter at Monmouth Park.
Jim Johnson of the Grand Alumni Band tells us where the proceeds of the raffle will go to:
“It’s to support our Youth Music Scholarship Fund. And that is basically giving back to the high schools, or to the schools United and Monmouth-Roseville, a scholarship, which is what we did this year.”
