HCHD Holding Emergency Exercise in October

Share

Henderson County Health Department will be holding a mock emergency exercise this month.

The exercise will focus on removing, or assisting, people from the senior housing complex in Okwaka.

Public Health Emergency Coordinator for HCHD Sharon Graham tells us what the goal of the exercise is.

“Our goal is at some point in time, a couple years down the road, to be able to replicate this at all our senior housing units throughout the county, as well as our seniors who are living alone.”

Henderson County Housing Authority will be working with HCHD to assist the emergency exercise.
