Linda S. Somerville

Linda S. Somerville, age 70, of Biggsville, Illinois passed away at 5:32
pm on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in
Galesburg, Illinois. Linda was born on April 12, 1949 and is the
daughter of Howard Dale and Anna Margaret Berresford Somerville. She was raised in Biggsville, Illinois where she attended local schools and
graduated in 1967 from Biggsville High School. Linda was employed
thirty-three years in the Laundry of St. Francis Nursing Home in
Burlington, Iowa, and lastly worked washing dishes at “Country Fun”
restaurant in Biggsville, IL. Linda loved to work Crossword Puzzles, do
paint by numbers painting, and was an avid Cubs baseball fan. She has
been a life long member of the Biggsville United Methodist Church. 
Surviving Linda is her sister, Carol A. Somerville of Biggsville,
Illinois and a number of other relatives. She is preceded in her death
by her parents, grand parents, Aunts and Uncles, and one half sister.

A funeral service for Linda is planned at 11:00 am on Monday, August 26,
2019 at the Biggsville United Methodist Church. Her family plans
visitation on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 am prior to the service.
Following the service,  the family plans fellowship in the basement of
the church and cremation will be accorded. A memorial fund is being
established for the Biggsville United Methodist Church. Turnbull Funeral
Home in Monmouth, is in charge of the local arrangements. To leave a
